snowwhite(The Story of Snow White)
Introduction
Once upon a time, in a kingdom far away, there lived a kind and beautiful queen named Snow White. She had everything she could ask for, but she longed for the one thing she did not h*e: a child. One day, as she was admiring the snow falling on her garden, she made a wish for a daughter with skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony.
The Evil Queen
Years went by, and Snow White was finally born. She grew up to be a kind and gentle girl, loved by all who knew her. However, her beauty also caught the attention of the king’s new wife, the evil queen. The queen was jealous of Snow White and would often ask her magic mirror who was the fairest of them all. When the mirror started replying that Snow White was the fairest, the queen devised a plan to get rid of her stepdaughter.
The Huntsman
The queen ordered a huntsman to take Snow White to the forest and kill her. The huntsman, however, could not bring himself to do it and instead let Snow White go. Lost in the forest, Snow White stumbled upon a small cottage inhabited by seven dwarfs. She was tired and hungry, so she ate some of their food and fell asleep in one of their beds.
The Seven Dwarfs
When the dwarfs came home and found Snow White, they were surprised but also delighted. They asked her to stay with them and promised to keep her safe. Snow White learned to cook and clean and helped the dwarfs with their daily work. Meanwhile, the queen discovered that Snow White was still alive and decided to take matters into her own hands.
The Poisoned Apple
The queen disguised herself as an old woman and went to the dwarfs’ cottage, offering Snow White a poisoned apple. Snow White, not suspecting anything, took a bite and fell into a deep sleep. The dwarfs, devastated, built a glass coffin for her and placed it in the forest. One day, a prince passing by saw Snow White and fell in love with her beauty. He woke her up with a kiss, and they lived happily ever after.
The Lesson
The story of Snow White teaches us that envy and jealousy will ultimately lead to one’s downfall. It also shows us that true love’s kiss can conquer even the most powerful of curses. Snow White became a legend, a symbol of beauty and kindness, and her story lives on through generations as a reminder of the power of true love.
