I visited the Dubai Museum, where I saw exhibits about the history of the city and its people. I also went to the Jumeirah Mosque, the only mosque in Dubai that is open to non-Muslim visitors. I learned about the importance of prayer and the significance of the hijab. I also tried traditional foods such as falafel, shawarma, and the famous Emirati dish, machboos.
4. Going on Adventures
While in Dubai, I wanted to try something new and exciting. thetourist helped me book a desert safari tour, where I went dune bashing in a 4×4 vehicle, rode a camel, and watched a traditional belly dance performance. I also went on a yacht cruise in the Persian Gulf, where I saw the city skyline from a different perspective and enjoyed some water activities such as swimming and snorkeling.
